Overdose Awareness Day 2025

Join Wayne County Coalitions and OneEighty in remembering those who have lost their lives to addiction.
Overdose is one of the leading causes of death for people ages 18 to 45 in the United States, with 80,391 overdose deaths in 2024. Overdose Awareness Day is observed annually on August 31 to create a better understanding of overdose, reduce the stigma of substance-related deaths, and create change that reduces the harms associated with substance use.
Wayne County Coalitions is partnering with OneEighty and other community partners to provide resources across the county. Information tables will be at these locations on Friday, August 29:
- OneEighty: 9 AM – 3 PM
- Orrville YMCA: 9 AM – 11 AM
